Emergency Room English

This is a 4 to 8 week program that meets for 5 to 7 hours per week depending on the individual program chosen. It is designed to enable the medical worker, especially those who have no formal English language training, to communicate to English speaking patients. The goal is to enable workers to "do their jobs in English." In a medical emergency a language barrier can mean the difference between life and death. The Emergency Roome English components are taught and overseen by medical professionals and leaders in the medical field.
