Teen Finance English

This English course is based on the book “Teen Money 101” from Your Money Trek. The book was written by former IBM Business Executive and financial expert, Stacia Morris. It is in easy-to-read language for teens, using teen illustrations, and is the result of several U.S. based teen focus groups.

The program has been adopted in over 40 U.S. schools in Connecticut in the U.S.A. The Teen Money 101 curriculum is a hands-on way to teach young people about wise money management. Teens can improve their financial English vocabulary while they learn ways to avoid the financial pitfalls later in life. This education is crucial because the average person, teens included, make financial decisions practically every day of their lives. Our program helps students to develop a solid financial foundation. Teen Money 101 has improved teen interest and comprehension of a growing number of American teenagers.

Teens also learn how career and education decisions affect their future lifestyles. This program includes many effective practical activities and learning enhancement tools such as exercises, stories, a board game and other materials.
